Kishangarh and Roopangarh
The town of Kishangarh is about 27 kms from Ajmer. It is in the western state of Rajasthan and is located on the National Highway 8.
Kishangarh - History In Brief
Kishangarh was the capital of the former princely state ruled by the Rathors. The Crown prince Savant Singh (1699-1764), patronized art, mainly painting and during his time, the paintings became highly devotional.

The major attractions of Kishangarh are the Fort and the Phool Mahal (Flower Palace), which has now been converted into a hotel. And while you are on a tour to Kishangarh you can most certainly take a look at the famous paintings that are still very well-preserved.
Roopangarh - Location
It is about 100 kms from Jaipur and is easily accessible by road from the capital city of Rajasthan, India.
Roopangarh- Must- See Places
The Roopangarh Fort was built in 1648 by King Roop Singh. It was primarily built to bolster the defense of the city. Initially it was a nine-turreted fort but there were several new additions made to the fort.
