Alwar Tour


Alwar is one of the most important cities of Rajasthan, nestling in the western sands of India that represents its cultural heritage. This city is popularly known as the Tiger Gate of Rajasthan.

This city is surrounded by the rigorous Aravalli hills. Formerly this city was known as Mewar. Alwar was a mainly a Rajput Kingdom that came under Muslim domination during 13th -18th century. Maharaja Pratap Singh, a Kuchhwaha Rajput , in 1771 A.D. belonging to the clan of Jaipur's rulers, won back Alwar and founded a principality of his own. Alwar is one place that is easily accessible, as it is 150 km from Jaipur and 170 km from Delhi.


On account of its curious Sariska Tiger Reserve, Alwar is popular amongst international and domestic tourists. Here on can imagine the thrill in chasing tiger on a jeep safari and see them hunting before one's peeled eye.

Bala Qila

This one of the ancient court that was constructed before the rise of Mughals. The unique fort stands 300 above the city. And these days it is used as radio transmitter station. A special permission from Superitendent of Police is needed to explore the fort.



Palace Complex

This Palace is now been turned into a museum that showcased collection of royal dresses in beautiful embroidery tuffed animals, Kashmiri coat work and stone sculpture including 11th century sculpture of Vishnu. The collection also has traditional instruments including a sitar in the shape of peacock. It also has a separate room that is used an exhibition hall and showcase collection of paintings that include live dramatization of the story about Krishna and Radha.



Purjan Vihar (Company Garden)

Laid in 1868 A.D. in the reign of Maharaja Shiv Dhan Singh, It is a picturesque garden that has an enchanting setting called Shimla. This exotic setting was built by Maharaja Mangal Singh in 1885 A.D. A unique Chatri with unusual Bengali roof and arches also known as the Moosi Maharani Ki Chattri attracts tourist.
